Ella A. Renz, 94, Minot, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at a Minot hospital. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home chapel in Minot. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Ella was born on May 5, 1931 in St. John, North Dakota to Emil and Regina (Trottier) Erickson, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her loving husband of 74 years, Cecil L. Renz.
Ella loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing, and canning. She raised 3 daughters, Barbara (Bob) Manzanares, Ellen (Bobby) Davis, and Gail Renz, all of whom survive.
