Thomas “Tom” Love, 57, Minot, formerly of Mandan, died Monday, September 9, 2025 in his home.
Tom Love was born on August 21, 1968 in Grand Forks, ND, to William and Lorraine Love. He was a happy-go-lucky kid, always up to something. His sisters remember him as a pushover, always willing to do whatever they said.
Tom made a living with his hands, working as a laborer and foreman for the Local 563 Union. He loved working on anything with a motor. Cars, trucks, four-wheelers, snowmobiles, and jet skis were all left in better shape than when he found them. He was a fantastic papa to Blake and Madison and a proud papa to Asher and Riker. He was looking forward to meeting his next two grandchildren, both due in a month, when he passed away. Tom also had a soft spot for his kitty, Monkey.
Tom is survived by his children, Aneasha (Ryan) Dean, Chance (Savannaha) Love, Savannah (Cody) Lies, and Dallas Carsen; his sisters, Tammy (Bruce) Bjelland of Mandan, ND, Rosann (Jeff) Coffin of Mandan, ND, Roxanne (Verlyn) Starck of Center, ND, Becky (Dave) Lindahl of Tennessee, and Vicky (Dave) Flanagan of Linton, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Gary Flemmer, twin brother Tim, and longtime girlfriend Tina Myers.
Visitation will take place from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Thomas Family Funeral Home in Minot, ND. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 15 at the Thomas Family Funeral Home Chapel.
